Hypnotic light show at AMIN TOBIN at Fillmore Miami Beach...SPECTACULAR!!

DJ music master Amin Tobin brought his ISAM Live 2.0 tour to Miami Beach's Fillmore theater. Amin's tour is beyond a thumping session of 808 beats, but a carefully choreographed, mesmerizing light show that keeps you hypnotized for two hours.

Wicked Games singer Chris Isaak tour at the Fillmore

Singer and actor Chris Isaak brought his "Beyond the Sun" tour to Miami Beach's Fillmore theater. Best known for his 1989 hit, Wicked Games, Chris aside from a musician is also an accomplished actor with roles in "Married to the Mob", "Silence of the Lambs" and "A Dirty Shame". "Hey Miami...Don't worry we'll play the two hits you know and then if we run out of songs, maybe we'll play some Blue Oaster Cult" Isaak told the crowd.

Nicoleta bring's Cuban spirit to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week SWIM

One of the most energetic, get up dance shows during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week SWIM, was the Nicoleta show. The show was full of cha cha a la Carmen Miranda, with special guest models: shoe designer Lisa Pliner, Cheetah Girl's Adrienne Bailon and Real Housewives of Miami's Adriana de Moura (pictured).

Nicoleta offered essential colors of Cuba like Mango Orange, Sol Yellow, Mar Teal and Orchid Violet. The Cuban born designer brought tropical flavor and vintage style in her 2012 collection. Her collection offers no-pinch fit, coverage on the hips and heart-shaped backside.

VIP's came out to support including shoe king Donald Pliner, socialite Dana Shear, and luxury handbag designer Laura Buccellati. Guest were treated to a very entertaining, bass pumping show and generous gift bag that included curling iron, plantain chips and guava.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week SWIM begins

Year's ago everyone would leave Miami head to Europe and up north because they say "Miami is dead in the summer". Not anymore.

Between four TV series being filmed in our city (Charlie's Angels, Burn Notice, Magic City, and The Glades), Rock of Ages movie starring Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and others and the week long Mercedes-Benz Miami Beach Fashion Week SWIM, its been one busy summer. Not to mention huge concerts visiting: U2, Riahnna, and Britney Spears.

Miami Beach Fashion Week SWIM, is the swimwear's premiere showcase for magazine editor's and buyers for the 2012 season. This year with showcases by Diesel, Beach Bunny, White Sands Australia, Red Carter, Mara Hoffman, Zingara, and more.

Expect many celebrities, VIP's, and industry types reviewing shows and sipping on Skyy Vodka drinks, one of the sponsors of this year's event. Other sponsors include: Mercedes-Benz, Amercian Express, DHL, Ocean Drive magazine, Windows and Raleigh Hotel.

TOMKAT enjoyed a night of dancing and Cuban food at Larios South Beach

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes went out Saturday night to enjoy some great Cuban food and salsa dancing at The Estefan's Larios South Beach.

Tom and Kate were joined by Rock of Ages castmates: Julianne Hough, Malin Akerman, Diego Boneta and Paul Giamatti.

Rock of Ages have set up shop at the Big Time's Ice Palace downtown and are getting ready the surrounding streets for a huge musical number in the movie. The movie also has the participation of Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin and Catherine Zeta Jones.

Filming continues today through August.

New Miami Heat Chris Bosh also with Ocean Drive magazine

New power forward for the new Miami Heat Dream Team, Chris Bosh received a "Welcome to Miami" reception at The Forge restaurant on Miami Beach. Ocean Drive Magazine, which organized the welcome, also presented Chris a special one-of-a-kind portrait painting by Miami's own Romero Britto.

Guest included Forge owner Shareef Malnik, Niche media president Jason Binn, Ocean Drive magazine publisher Courtland Lantaff, socialites Iran Issa Khan and Hello Campos, Ocean Drive Editor-in Chief Suzy Buckley and Dr. Rian Maercks.

In addition to his role as a Miami Heat, Chris will have a monthly column in Ocean Drive. Can't wait to check that out...

Shake Shack opens on Lincoln Rd.

The famous Shake Shack burger restaurant opened at beautifully designed world-renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron, the 1111 Lincoln Rd. building, to huge expectations. Shake Shack is popular in New York and known of its outrageous long lines and hour long waits. Restaurant guru/owner Danny Meyer was in town for highly anticipated opening. Food is delicious, including their custard shakes, fries, hot dogs on poppy seed buns and delicious burgers, voted "Best Burger" in 2005 by New York Magazine.

Famous faces at the opening included Debbie Ohanian, Forge owner Shareef Malnik, SBWFF founder Lee Schrager, chef Allen Susser, scene snapper JIPSY, chef Michelle Bernstein, Robert Wennett, MTV's Mario Cader-Frech, Candela Ferro, and soap actor Khotan.
