The Bangles coming to Magic City Casino



Eighties mega girl band The Bangles are coming to the Magic City Casino to perform their hits "Walk Like An Egyptian," "Eternal Flame," "Manic Monday", to name a few.

The group now consist of the three original members: Susanna Hoffs and sisters Vicki and Debbi Peterson currently on tour and also promoting their most recent SWEETHEART OF THE SUN, which pays homage to the band's shared love of 60's-era music.

The Bangles perform on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 8:30 p.m. at STAGE 305 at Magic City Casino, 888-56-MAGIC, 450 NW 37th Avenue. MAP IT

Wicked Games singer Chris Isaak tour at the Fillmore

Singer and actor Chris Isaak brought his "Beyond the Sun" tour to Miami Beach's Fillmore theater. Best known for his 1989 hit, Wicked Games, Chris aside from a musician is also an accomplished actor with roles in "Married to the Mob", "Silence of the Lambs" and "A Dirty Shame". "Hey Miami...Don't worry we'll play the two hits you know and then if we run out of songs, maybe we'll play some Blue Oaster Cult" Isaak told the crowd.

It was a nice to see Miami's own Jesse Jackson be the opening act for Chris Isaak concert last night at the Fillmore Miami Beach.

Jackson is a talented singer-songwriter that we've been following for sometime, whether at one of his many performances at Sweat Record, Vagabond and Tobacco Road.

Last night Jesse looking sharp in his suit and tie, and clean cut look performed some of his songs from his latest self titled CD, Jesse Jackson.

Hall and Oates bring hits to the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood

Hitmaker's Daryl Hall and John Oates  brought all their hits to the Seminole Hard Rock hotel and casino in Hollywood.

The dynamic duo performed favorites like  "Private Eyes", "Rich Girl", "I can't go for that",  and one of our favorites "Kiss is on my list", among so many more.

Interesting that Daryl Hall has an online reality show series called Live From Daryl's House.

Marc Anthony Celebrates Birthday in Style



Marc Anthony has a long history with Miami.  From the days when he performed his freestyle music tracks at nightclubs in Hialeah, to his movie part in "The Substitute", which starred Tom Beringer and filmed at Miami High, and his with two marriages to Dayanara Torres and Jennifer Lopez.

The weeklong celebration of  Marc's 43rd birthday began on Monday at the Miami Dolphins game, where he is a part owner and was joined by friend's Will Smith and Fergie.





On Friday and Saturday, the superstar of salsa, sold out both nights at the American Airlines Arena. The sold out crowd on both nights sang Happy Birthday, which brought Anthony to his knees, kissing the floor and shedding a tear of emotion and gratitude.

After the concert on Friday night, he celebrated a more intimate gathering at the Viceroy with about 150 guest that included baseball slugger Sammy Sosa.

Air Supply lands at Magic City Casino's first SOLD OUT concert

The 80's were re-lived last night when Australian hit makers Air Supply performed at Magic City Casino's first SOLD-Out concert.

Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock performed all their love song hits like All Out of Love, Lost In Love, Making Love Out Of Nothing, and The One That You Love.

Next at Magic City Casino: Gin Blossoms and Sugar Ray.

They Still Got It!! Tears for Fears in Concert


Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith better known as 80's mega group Tears for Fears performed to a sold-out concert at the Broward Center Tuesday night.

They sang all their hits including Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Shout bringing back great memories. We have to say it was an amazing concert and can't wait for them to come back to South Florida.

Courtney Love brings her show to the Fillmore


Courtney Love and a rejuvenated band Hole performed at the Fillmore last night, promoting the band's most recent "Nobody's Daughter" release.

The refreshed looking Courtney Love spent two days at the Raleigh hotel and had an after concert dinner at Michael's Genuine in the Design District before continuing her tour in Orlando.

LAST NIGHT: 50 Cent performs at the Fillmore


50 Cent performed with his G-Unit crew Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks at the Fillmore theater as part of his 19 city, The Invitation Tour.

50 Cent has been in the news lately for the 50 pounds he lost in a diet for an upcoming movie (Things Fall Apart) role of cancer stricken football player.
