Miami's 3-time Indy 500 champ and ABC's winner of "Dancing wiht the Stars", Helio Castroneves has been named the Grand Marshal of the Great Grove Bed Race to be held on September 6.
"I've competed in a lot of different cars in my time, but I've certainly never raced a bed", said Castroneves. "This is going to be an amazing event, and I'm really excited to be part of it".

The announcement was made at the Mayfair in Coconut Grove with Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, Homestead-Miami Speedway president Curtis Gray, Miami Mayor Manny Diaz, Nile Patrick with Alonzo Mourning Charities, and Daisy Lewis, events director for the Great Grove Bed Race.

Great Grove Bed Race will benefit Alonzo Mourning Charities and the University of Miami Sleep program. Helio will also be part of the IndyCar championship Weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on October 10.
