Ted Baker
officially launched their fabulous new store at the Aventura Mall with a stellar VIP grand opening. Not only were the 200 guests in awe of the
Ted Baker
spring collection – The womenswear takes a glamorous, romantic approach to feminine apparel. While the menswear combines relaxed sophistication with razor sharp tailoring – they were also graced with the presence of the man behind the brand for the celebratory evening.

Greeted with a hot pink carpet as they entered the store’s giant gilt frame frontage, there was a clear indication that this store is certainly not ordinary. A welcoming glass of Sapphire ‘Brit 75’ and Bombay’s ‘Ted-tinis’ gave the shopping elite a taste of Ted’s daily offerings. The evening included a montage of beautiful people, fine hors d’oeuvres, including grilled mint ginger and lime-spiked shrimp and Thai beef salad from Shiraz FL, and of course, shopping.
The night quickly came to an unwelcomed end, but surprises were still to come, courtesy of this decidedly quirky brand. TED BAKER himself announced one lucky guest to be the winner of a $1500 shopping spree. Then finally, there were His and Her gift bags, containing Ted Baker wallets with cufflinks for the gents and Ted Baker silk handkerchiefs and Bombay martini glasses for the ladies. These were presented as a memento of the evening as guests departed.

The event was hosted by an illustrious committee comprised of Frank Kelly, Esquire magazine’s “America’s Best Dressed Real Man”, Katrina Campins, founder of the Campins Company and star of the first season of The Apprentice; Dana Shear, co-owner and sales executive of Shear Construction and Development; Vivianne Kurzweil, Miami socialite; Susie and Walid Wahab, a notable society couple and owners of Wahab Construction. Other guests in attendance included, Gigi Ghovanloo, owner of Monsieur Spa;James Green, London architect; Jillian Jacobson, Miami socialite and philanthropist; Joe Lorusso, Miami Beach Attorney; Phillip Goldfarb, President and COO of Turnberry Associates; and Robert Onushka, owner of Stella’s Sweet Shoppe.

"It's great to see Ted Baker open its doors again in South Florida. They offer a cutting-edge line of men's suits, shirts and jackets that appeal to both the young trendsetters and the more conservative demographic that wants to achieve a modern look. The event was great and I'll definitely be wearing Ted Baker suits at work and on the town,” said Frank Kelly, host committee member.

Make no mistake, the Ted Baker store at the Aventura Mall is a sight to behold. It brings classic English design to life, Miami style, and proves first impressions count. Flamingos hanging from the ceilings and a stuffed swan decorate the 2,000 square feet, themed exotic paradise. While the five luxurious dressing rooms, draped in deep purple curtains, create an elaborate yet inviting feel. There’s even a plush, round gold couch, for your added leisure.
