Miami International Film Festival(MIFF) announced today its 25th anniversary edition program to take place February 28 through March 9th.
Patricia Riggen's Mexican film Under the Same Moon will open the festival. A total of 163 Films, 121 Features, 42 Shorts. 10 World Premeires, 46 North American and U.S. Premieres.
Celebrities expected at this year's festival include: Collin Firth, Juliette Binoche, Kate del Castillo, Carlos Santana, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Fito Paez, Alfred Molina, David Schrimmer, Kate Beckensale, Heather Graham, Demi Moore, Harvey Keitel and many more to be announced.
"Our growth is a testament to MDC's and the City of Miami's commitment to the arts and to film as an industry," said Festival Director Patrick de Bokay.
This year's poster was created by artist and MDC alumni, Cesar Santos.
