In vintage South Beach, when Marielitos and retirees, and delapidated art deco buildings were the surroundings, a gem was among them and it was the 5th Street Gym.
Last night, the 5th Street reopened with appearances of some of boxing's greats including Burt Sugar, Angelo Dundee, "The Fight Doctor" Ferdie Pacheco , Bernie Yuman and "The Man" Muhammad Ali.
