Barton G Host Luncheon for the Kids Hear Now Foundation

The Kids Hear Now Foundation celebrated a luncheon at Barton G. The Restaurant on Miami Beach to launch its upcoming gala in May, sure to be an amazing event. Last year's event had special guest Miss America Heather Whitestone, who spoke about her positive life-altering experience with cochlear implants and a unique performance by Dionne Warwick.

The luncheon had speakers Sandra Jackson Seiler and 11 year-old son Hunter, a gifted 5th grade student, both of whom wear electronic cochlear implants. Palm Beach socialite Tova Leidesdorf was surprised by the luncheon's host Jill Viner and Barton G with a birthday cake, while guests including Fana J. Holz, Andria Holz, Irma Braman, Susie Sayfie, Eleanor Weiss, Gloria Scharlin, Toby Lerner Ansin, Rhoda Levitt, Marilyn Millian, Naomi Wilzig, Diane Weiss and Allison Weiss Brady, led the applause.

The afternoon guest enjoyed an informal fashion show, music by Latin Grammy nominated harpist Roberto Perera and a chocolate delight presented in a wrapped Mayor's box.

In 2008, celebrated events architect and impresario Barton G. Weiss launched, The Barton G. Kids Hear Now Foundation. The Foundation was inspired by Weiss’s own experience of seeking to provide his deaf daughter, Jadin, with the best chance of success in a hearing world. His search led him to Dr. Thomas J. Balkany, Hotchkiss Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and one of the world’s foremost authorities on cochlear implant surgery world’s foremost authorities on them.
