Gary Sinise and Stephen Baldwin at the home of Mark and Robin Levinson to benefit Operation Iraqi Children

Mark and Robin Levinson, co-owners of Levinson Jewelers, hosted a private event, benefiting Operation Iraqi Children as well as honoring the award winning actor/director Gary Sinise at their private home in Ft. Lauderdale. Gary Sinise was presented with the Career Achievement in Film Award at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival.

Joining Sinise and Mark and Robin Levinson for the VIP event were actor Stephen Baldwin, Ted Morse, CEO of Ed Morse Automotive and Scott W. Rothstein, CEO and Managing Shareholder of the law firm Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler. Guests were treated to Sinise’s greatest moments on screen including clips from the feature films Forrest Gump, The Human Stain, Truman, Ransom, George Wallace and Of Mice & Men.
The evening featured a sit-down dinner catered by The Capital Grille. Guests had the opportunity to participate in a live auction hosted by radio personality, “Footy”, which featured items such as a trio of 18k white gold sapphire bracelets donated by Levinson Jewelers; a framed CSI: NY episode 301 “People with Money” script autographed by Gary Sinise and cast members; dinner for six at Café Martorano and a Soraya Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness Necklace donated by Levinson Jewelers. All proceeds from the auction benefited Operation Iraqi Children (OIC), a grass-roots program created to give concerned Americans a way to reach out to war-stricken Iraqi children and support American troops in their efforts to assist them.
Operation Iraqi Children (OIC)is a grass-roots program founded in early 2004 by actor Gary Sinise and author Laura Hillenbrand (Seabiscuit: An American Legend). Sinise and Hillenbrand created OIC to give concerned Americans a way to reach out to war-stricken Iraqi children and support American troops in their efforts to assist them.
