CAPPONI GROUP ASK YOU TO JOIN THEM FOR THANKSGIVING AT THE MIAMI RESCUE MISSION

Dear Caring Friends,

It’s that special time of year again when we as a community can come together and give back, grass roots style!

This Thanksgiving we are hosting the 2nd year anniversary of the most unforgettable way to spend your holiday. Last year’s partnership with the Miami Rescue Mission has grown into one of my most treasured relationships and has now become a tradition. This year we will partner again with the Miami Rescue Mission for another incredible Thanksgiving.

We will be feeding 1500 homeless guests and low income families who need and deserve a helping hand. Those of you who joined us last year know that the impact of the day was so extraordinary, that many of you are calling to volunteer again. This year we will be operating a free clothing store where donated clothes will be given to our guests. We will have doctors, nurses and drug rehabilitation representatives. Our meals provided by Boston Market have been generously donated to us by Market America for the second year. Also for the second year Opium Group has donated beverages and Shareef Malnik of The Forge restaurant is providing us with the buses to transport our guests from the surrounding Miami neighborhoods. The buses will also be used for our volunteers to hand deliver meals and hope-tote-bags filled with hygiene products to those who cannot attend the block party. And of course, DJ Irie whose music sent so many volunteers and guests dancing in the streets will also be returning this year. We welcome all of you… old and young to spend this unforgettable day with us.

For those of you who can’t attend we are accepting donations of all kinds such as shoes, new packaged undergarments and socks, clothing, blankets, baby clothes….Please deliver these donations before Thanksgiving so we can distribute the items that day.
