RICKY MARTIN Opens Fillmore Miami Beach At The Jackie Gleason Theater

Grammy & Latin Grammy winning superstar Ricky Martin headlined the highly anticipated opening of The Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater. Earlier on opening day, Ricky received the keys to the city of Miami Beach from Mayor David Dermer.
MORE INFO ON THE NEW THEATER---Live Nation, the world’s largest live music company, has made $3.5 million in renovations to this historic theatre. The Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater will feature state of the art sound and lights, five new sparkling chandeliers, 11 new convenient refreshment stations, new warmer Fillmore color schemes throughout, and posters, pictures and newspaper articles reflecting the local history of The Jackie Gleason Theater as well as that of the original Fillmore San Francisco hung on the walls. Upon entering the venue, there will be fresh apples for hungry live music aficionados and a greeter to let them know about upcoming shows.
