Pawpurrazzi 2009: Celebrating Man's Best Friend

RUNWAY GOES TO THE DOGS AT PAWPURRAZZI 09 HOSTED BY THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF GREATER MIAMI, SOUTH MOTORS, AND SAKS FIFTH AVENUE

Miami's elite and man's best friends attended Pawpurrazzi 2009 at Jungle Island, to benefit The Humane Society of Greater Miami.

This year's chairman of Pawpurrazzi 2009 was philanthropist Patricia Wallace, who attended with her husband Milton, and her two dogs, Chloe and Hanna.

One of the most anticipated features of the night was the “Great Pets Who Walk In Front of Great People” show, where select guests and their dog(s) strut down the runway. Among the selected was Dr. Frederic Brandt, Tova Leidesdorf, and Gabriela who modeled with dog Luky , the famous dog from the South Motors commercials.

Other guest included, Alan Randolph and Martin Krediet, Rene Ruiz, Morton Aagaard, Stephanie Sayfie-Aagaard, Modern Luxury publisher Leslie Wolfson, Lucky Strike owners Philip Levine and Brian Elias, Fannie Dascal, Karla Dascal, Andrea Greenberg, WFOR's Lisa Petrillo and husband Bill McCue, Lisette Gonzalez,, Dr. Donna Shalala, Mayor Glenn Singer, D.J. and Steven Kerr, Bunny Bastion, Mrs. Marisa Cisneros-Rizzon and Mr. Marcos Rizzon, and Alan Potamkin.

Starr Pliner celebrates 4th birthday at Jungle Island

Starr Pliner, sporting a "No Autographs Please" t-shirt celebrated her 4th birthday at the Jungle Island on Watson island. Proud parent's Donald and Lisa Pliner joined Babydoll and Miami socialites Stephanie Sayfie-Aagaard with son's Anders and Austin, Mark and Allison Zhuk with Asher and Ariya, Alain and Jillian Altit-Jacobson with daughter Juliette, Marlem Pernetti with daughters' Tatiana and Katarina, and businessmanDennis Peters with daughter Veronica. Guest enjoyed the Jungle Island attractions, face painting, steel drum music and a private encounter with chimpanzees, a kangaroo, monkey, skunk, and a penguin. What a fun time. Guest were asked in lieu of gift that a donation be made to Peace for the Children.
