Patrick Dempsey brings star power to the Miami Grand Prix

Most people know him for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd ("McDreamy") in Grey's Anatomy. Patrick Dempsey's other passion is racing cars. Every year the heartrobe actor comes to Miami to participate in the Miami Grand Prix with this Dempsey Racing team.

Dempsey also brings star power to the Homestead Miami Speedway. He does a Q & A for fans, signs autographs and poses for photos. Nice guy!!

Remembering Paul Newman in Miami

Actor Paul Newman visited the Magic City every year during the races either when the Miami Grand Prix were held in downtown Miami and then at Homestead Sports Complex. Always excited about our city, and many triumph with his race team, it was always a pleasure to talk to him and hear the excitement he had for the sport, bypassing his Oscar aura. He'll be missed, but thank you for sharing a great life and being a good example of what we should aspire to be.
