Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse celebrated the 5th anniversary of his acclaimed restaurant Emeril's, located at the Loews hotel on Miami Beach.
Emeril received a proclamation from Miami Beach City Commissioner Saul Gross, a beautiful diamond pendant from Lucy Morillo, President of the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation, Pop artist Romero Britto presented a self portrait art piece of Emeril and a song, written and performed by 8 year old pianist Ethan Bortnick.
The 100% proceeds from the night's celebration benefited The Miami Children's Hospital Foundation.

Star-Studded event for Miami Children's Hospital Foundation's Diamond Ball and Concert


Miami Children's Hospital Foundation hosted its annual Diamond's Ball and Concert at the American Airlines Arena, this year honoring Beyonce Knowles. The star-studded event also included celebrities: Gloria Estefan, Emilio Estefan, Carlos Ponce with wife Veronica, "I Will Survive" Disco Queen Gloria Gaynor, piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick and a special performance by the "King of Motown" Smokey Robinson.
"This exatraordinary evening of diamonds, celebrities and stars bebefited Miami Children's Hospital Foundation, which supports Miami Children's mission to ensure all children have the opportunity to receive consistent medical care of the highest caliber, no matter where they live," Foundation presiden Lucy Morillo
The Diamond Ball and Private Concert was co-chaired by Patricia and Thomas Cornish, Vivian and Juan Carlos Mas, and Bibiana and Mario Murgado. Other socialites in attendance included, Norma Quintero, Mauricio Zeilic, Gene Presscot, Ana Navarro, Lisa Pliner, James Ferraro, Dr. Steven Kerr, Frank Amadeo, Dan and Tina Carlo.


This year's induction to the International Pediatric Hall of Fame was Beyonce Knowles. Beyonce, who showed up without husband Jay Z, was picked for this years award for her contributions to the Survivor Foundation, which she co-founded.
