Roy and Lea Black and Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez hosted The All-Star Gala presented by Dewar’s 12 and Haute Living, benefiting the AROD Family Foundation and the Bay Point Schools at the Ritz Carlton on South Beach.
The All-Star Gala included special guest Pamela Anderson who presented comedian Tommy Davidson, R&B/Soul Legend Patti LaBelle who was the major entertainment for the night along with, Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver lead singer Scott Weiland, Rush Limbaugh, Jason Binn, Tracy Mourning, Alonzo Mourning, Diva Extraordinaire Elaine Lancaster, Haute Living's Kamal Hotchandani, Dan Mathews, Senior VP of PETA, and other Miami socialites. Club impresorio Eric Milon with wife Stacey Milon later hosted Pam Anderson and Scott Weiland at SET. Guest there included Heatherette clothing designer Richie Rich , The Forge's Shareef Malnik, Tommy Davidson, Lea Black, Stacey Benedetti, Alisa Martino, Frankie Frederico, and Rob Yost.

Without a Trace's Enrique Marciano host world premiere of The Fundraiser to benefit Bay Point Schools

Roy and Lea Black presented the world premeire of The Fundraiser at the Gusman Theater. Hosted by Without a Trace's Enrique Marciano, the event to raise money for Baypoint Schools, drew a list of Miami's elite including: fight doctor/artist Ferdie Pacheco, Romero Britto, former Victoria Secret's model Angela Lindwall, Cindy Carr, Tara Gilani, Marlem Pernetti, Thomas Kramer, Fran and Mel Harris, Steven Posner. Lea Black has informed us that another premiere will take place at the Sundance Film Festival in February. Let's go skiing!!!!

SAKS FIFTH AVENUE PRESENTS ZAC POSEN’S SPRING/SUMMER ’08 FASHION SHOW AT THE REGAL VANDERBILT MANSION ON FISHER ISLAND

Designer Zac Posen showcased his Spring/Summer ’08 collection at the Vanderbelt mansion at Fisher Island last night. The evening hosted by socialites Sarah Bromley, Tutti Izarry, Loretta Mattos, Michelle Rubell, Lea Black, which percentage of the evening’s sales benefited Bay Point Schools.
Among the supporters: Club king promoter Tommy Pooch with his lovely wife Michelle, Jillian Jacobson-Altit, who is holding a feté at her Cocoplum home on November 15th as members of Carnival Center's Next Generation Committee, the always social staple Sanford and Dolores Ziff, Lucy Rodriguez-Bacardi, Jason Rubell, Allison Zhuk, Marissa Toccin, Miami Herald celebrity columnist Leslie Abravanel, Table 8 restaurant owner Josh Woodward with girlfriend/writer Suzy Buckley, Allison Weiss Brady, Mari Alarcon-Grimalt and Daisy Casuso, owners of hip.E boutique, Dana Shear, Avenue magazine’s Miami editor Daisy Olivera with husband Bernard Garsen, writer John Hood, Miami Modern Luxury publisher Leslie Wolfson, Marlem Pernetti, Neiman Marcus’ Katharine Rubino, Christina Getty, and Gigi Ganatra. The evenings refreshments were provided by Grey Goose and music by DJ Ross One.
