In the 90's Miami Beach had its comeback years when News Cafe, Tony Goldman, and others brought the rebirth of a lost riviera. Within that rebirth, A Fish Called Avalon was born, and this past week it celebrated its 20th anniversary.
The night was full of memories with the old school pioneers including restaurant owner Don Glassie, who was surprised when Trixie popped out of the anniversary cake. Vice Mayor Jonah Wolfson presented a proclamation from the City of Miami Beach and Perrier Jouët's Sarah Halstead, brought a vintage 1989 bottle of Perrier Jouët to celebrate this moment.
Other faces included: Queen of the Night Tara Solomon, author Brian Antoni, Bobby Radical, David Granoff, Alex Duff, Gigi Ganatra, chef Brian Cantrall, music by The Beach Brothers and tunes by legendary DJ Sista Mark Leventhal.
