35th Anniversary Fashion Show Luncheon Benefiting Project: New Born



Bal Harbour Shops presented the 35th anniversary fashion show luncheon benefiting Project: New Born, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the Holtz Children’s Hospital at Jackson Memorial Hospital. This year the event was held at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort and Club in Aventura. Antendees included: Lola Jacobson, The Banyan Society Grand Chairperson, Project New Born founder Schatzi Kassal, Bal Harbour Shops' Cheryl Stephenson, Ferne Toccin, Danny Toccin, Marisa Toccin, Stephanie Sayfie-Aaagard, Suzie Sayfie, Allison Weiss Brady, Cindy Carr, Dorothy and Stanley Whitman, Diane Sepler, Peggy and Richard Banick.

Created by Schatzi Kassal when her third child was being treated in Jackson Memorial’s Neonatal Unit, the organization grew from a simple fundraiser with 250 attendees to a membership of more than 2,500 of the most recognized and celebrated names in philanthropy.

“I’m forever grateful to our dear friends at Bal Harbour Shops whose commitment to organizing this glamorous luncheon has been so crucial in funding the growth of Project: New Born’s achievements for the past 35 years,” says Kassal.

Prior to the luncheon, Kaulua Creations where guest were treated to an array of sweet desserts from participating restaurants and prepared by South Florida's top pastry chefs.
