•New Year’s 1967 is a Halloween celebration for the art enthusiest.

•Nightmare: Ghost Stories, New York’s Most Horrifying Haunted House closes on Sunday, November 2nd.
NIGHTMARE: GHOST STORIES is a classic walk-through haunted house. A cast of 20 live performers act out all manner of macabre, scream-inducing scenarios.
Tickets for “NIGHTMARE:GHOST STORIES” are $25 advance / $30 at the door. Special VIP Express Entry tickets are $45.

•Tommy Lee and DJ Aero celebrate Halloween at the new Karu & Y, Downtown Miami. Come party with former Motley Crew drummer turned DJ Tommy Lee as he performs sets with DJ Aero till 4 am.

•Blue Man Group ~ Making Waves exhibit opened at the Miami Children’s museum. Participants can see, feel, hear, and create sound in the fun-filled signature Blue Man style.
The exhibit runs through February 9th, 2009. Entrance to the exhibit is included with your regular paid admission. The Museum is open to the general public seven days a week from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. Regular admission to the museum is free for MCM members and children under 12 months; non-member adults and children are $12. •Music Música exhibit opened at the Miami Science Museum and runs through February 22, 2009.
Music Música is a combination of two exhibits that look at music from both a cultural and a scientific perspective. American Sabor: Latinos in US Popular Music is the first major museum exhibition to tell the story of the profound influence and impact of Latinos in American popular music. The exhibit includes historical recounts and imagery plus memorabilia from artists like Celia Cruz, Ritchie Valens, Santana and more. Access All Areas analyzes music from its physics, its technology, its artists and the audience. This interactive exhibit is made up of thirty three hands-on exhibits that challenge the spectator to keep the beat, sing in tune, mix tracks, play a never ending scale, conjure music from thin air and learn to "see" music among other activities. You can even design your own rock show!
Adults $18, seniors and students with ID $16, children $13, children under 3 are free. Miami-Dade county residents receive 15% off ticket prices.

•Viernes Culturales (Cultural Friday’s), October 31st, monthly art gallery walk in Miami’s Little Havana. See live music by Luis Bofill and America Orquestra, or have dinner at nearby restaurant Casa Juancho or El Pub. Over 17 galleries and 15 restaurants. Located on SW 8th St “Calle Ocho” between 13th and 17th Avenue.
•Arsht Center FAMILY DAY, November 1st, 11:30am to 1:30 am. FREE.
The Adrienne Arsht Center will present Family Fest, a free series featuring family-friendly out-of-doors activities and performances. The performances, hands-on demonstrations, and mini-workshops will provide active and engaging opportunities for parents to share with their children, while introducing "up-close" involvement in the performing arts. Families can make a puppet, learn a song, or try out a few new dance moves, while learning about the arts and other cultures. Ziff Ballet Opera House
