Purvis Young is probably one of Miami's legendary artist and he is making a rare appearance Saturday, September 13 at the Bakehouse Art Complex in Wynwood. 10pm.
Purvis is known for his art on plywood, using house paint and amazing stories to go with his works. His work has been collected by Jane Fonda, Ted Turner, the Rubell Family, among others. Purvis Young's works appear in many museum, galleries, art books, documentary, and is probably the most prolific African American artist of our times.
Come check him out!
