Beatles' Ringo Starr celebrated birthday with concert and exhibit of art at the Hard Rock hotel in Hollywood, FL.
Ringo Starr started doing artwork in the late nineties with computer art. It gave him something to do while he was touring and staying in the the crazy hotels while he was on the road. This is his first ever collection of artwork, all hand signed by Ringo.
“Playing drums for me is a group thing, it’s totally a band thing. Painting is a solitary thing” Ringo says, “If I have fun doing it and the money goes to charity, it’s great!”
100% of Ringo's proceeds will benefit the Lotus Foundation Charity, whose primary objective is to assist in family and child welfare, animal protection, and addiction recovery and education.
To see more of Ringo's art go to our friend's Nim Vaswani's Road Show Company for more information.
